		<description>Mike: Yes, the Thrashers will be on SportsSouth again this season ... I don't think the schedule has been announced yet.

But, since the SportsSouth regional networks also cover the Hurricanes, Predators and Lightning, you have to be in Georgia to get Le Thrash. So, if you're not in Georgia, you're not going to get much of the Thrashers without Center Ice.

But we're getting this thing started anyway, here in the dog days, as we look ahead to what will be a very interesting season for the Thrashers. It's a great team to cover, even if the results on the ice aren't always great. Lots and lots of storylines, from the ownership situation to Kovy and his brilliance to the porous defense to Kari's development between the pipes to Anderson's debut season behind the bench ...

It should be lively, to say the least.
